Auto terminals in seaports
On the North Sea, Baltic Sea and in the Mediterranean
Bremerhaven is the strongest location in the network and, with over 1.2 million vehicles a year, is one of the biggest automobile ports in the world. Imported vehicles are distributed directly to northern Europe through Bremerhaven, or routed into Eastern Europe through a central inland terminal. Export vehicles from Europe are transported to all parts of the world through Bremerhaven (Working Hours [PDF, 480KB]).
Gioia Tauro in Southern Italy has developed into a hub for imported and export vehicles in the Mediterranean. The Southern European Region is connected to Central Europe and Russia through Gioia Tauro.
Apart from the major car hubs in Bremerhaven in the north and Gioia Tauro in the south, BLG LOGISTICS has other seaport terminals in: Hamburg, Cuxhaven, Gdansk, Koper (Slovenia) and St. Petersburg.
