The managing company of this business division is BLG AUTOMOBILE LOGISTICS GmbH & Co. KG based in Bremen.
The Intermodal area has a modern and increasingly low-emission truck fleet, seven inland waterway vessels on the Rhine and Danube, and state-of-the-art double-storey automobile carriages with the latest technology.
All terminals are equipped with PDI and technical centres to rework and fit out vehicles.
The range of services includes port handling, warehousing, technical processing, transportation, supply chain management, factory logistics, shipping, individual shipment, as well as the entire administrative vehicle handling process including documentation and customs clearance.
In 2010, a total of 5.4 million vehicles were handled, processed and transported in the Automotive business division.
