Inland terminal
The BLG AutoTerminal Kelheim offers a vehicle capacity for 26,000 vehicles over an area of 507,000 m². 161 staff (plus currently 25 temporary employees) attend to the handling, warehousing and technical processing of the vehicles, which mostly come from Hungary by barge, from the southern German automobile factories by truck, or from Slovakia/Czech Republic by rail. They are stored temporarily at the terminal and from there distributed to the dealers nationwide. BLG AutoTerminal Kelheim also offers technical processing of the vehicles at its own on-site workshop.
The terminal is equipped with 2 multistorey car parks for 7,800 vehicles, 2 siding tracks, 2 head ramps, 1 RoRo pontoon and a PDI centre.
Vehicle technical centre
At the Kelheim location BLG has a technical center where it processes vehicles of diverse manufacturers on the basis of its high level of technical know-how. The technical center is equipped with three car wash lines, two spray booths as well as numerous hydraulic car lifts for carrying out repairs and body cavity sealing.
The range of services includes inspection, dewaxing and washing all the way to painting work, repairs and modifications.
Truck station
Our own truck fleet with special vehicles which are responsible for the transportation from the terminals or the OEM direct to the car dealer.
