Kelheim
Inland terminal
The BLG AutoTerminal Kelheim offers a vehicle capacity for 26,000 vehicles over an area of 507,000 m². 161 staff (plus currently 25 temporary employees) attend to the handling, warehousing and technical processing of the vehicles, which mostly come from Hungary by barge, from the southern German automobile factories by truck, or from Slovakia/Czech Republic by rail. They are stored temporarily at the terminal and from there distributed to the dealers nationwide. BLG AutoTerminal Kelheim also offers technical processing of the vehicles at its own on-site workshop.
The terminal is equipped with 1 multistorey car park, 2 siding tracks, 2 head ramps, 1 RoRo pontoon and a PDI centre. The biggest clients at this terminal are BMW, Suzuki, Kia, Chrysler, Audi and Hyundai.
Vehicle technical centre
BLG AutoTerminal Kelheim offers a technical centre in which the vehicles of a wide variety of manufacturers are processed with a high degree of technical know-how. The technical centre is equipped with a car wash and two painting cabins. By the end of this year, a second car wash will be built, and the technical centre extended. Numerous car hoists are also being fitted to perform repairs.
The services at the Kelheim site range from inspection, de-preservation and washing, to paintwork, repairs and modifications.
Truck station
Our own truck fleet with special vehicles which are responsible for the transportation from the terminals or the OEM direct to the car dealer.
