Its favourable position on the northern Adriatic makes Ravenna Container Terminal (RCT) an excellent starting point for shipping services to the eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea and Suez Canal.  This terminal has excellent intermodal connections with the hinterland.  Expert logistics management and a high level of flexibility have made RCT into a highly dynamic and extremely promising handling location.

The Darsena S. Vitale Pier has an operating area of 301,000 m² and the 640 m long quay has berths for two container ships.  An additional berth, measuring 40 x 40 m, makes it possible to load and discharge two ro-ro ships simultaneously.  Goods stores with an area of 10,000 m² and a container-repair workshop are also available.
