Port Klang
The Port Klang site in Malaysia is located approx. 70 km from Kuala Lumpur on the west coast, and offers a vehicle capacity for approx. 1,000 passenger cars, of which 300 vehicles are in the bonded warehouse, over an area of 21,000 m². Approx. 20 employees take care of the handling, maintenance and warehousing of the vehicles in the Vehicle Distribution Centre according to the client’s stipulated standards.
All processes are represented by a complex in-house IT platform, which, among other things, provides clients with up-to-date information on the warehouse stock, vehicle availability and order status using reporting tools. The stored vehicles come to the Vehicle Distribution Centre either as full imports via Port Klang or from local CKD production plant of the multinational automobile manufacturer. At the dealers’ call, the vehicles are distributed nationally (incl. East Malaysia) via a car transporter.
